Fantasy Life (HKJFF 2026)

After losing his job, Sam Stein, an adrift New York paralegal, stumbles into a babysitting job for his psychiatrist's grandchildren. Drawn into the chaotic orbit of a wealthy but unhappy Jewish family, Sam forms an unexpected bond with the mother, a former actress struggling with marriage, motherhood, and fading ambitions. Featuring a star-filled cast, including Amanda Peet, Judd Hirsch, Andrea Martin, Zosia Mamet and Holland Taylor, the film captures a distinctly contemporary Jewish sensibility while exploring the fragile ways people try to care for one another.
