Just a normal drama with the financial crisis as a remote backdrop. Shouldn't be called a wall street movie, let alone a sequel to THE wall street movie in the 80s. Not as captivating and intense as the first one. The transformer kid doesn't look or feel professional enough to be a 'wall street guy'.Overall a sad attempt to create a sequel to THE wall street movie, and it failed miserably.

Great dialog, folding recents events into the story line & good acting. But it was made in a hurry to capture recent memory of the financial crisis and needs an ending.

I know nt everyone will like it, especially a movie lover, if u hv no financial background, u will find it boring! But I love it!

＂Buy on rumors, sell on facts". 過高的期望只有帶來失望。製作人並未能把握故事背景加以發揮。對金融海嘯及相關人物作過多的影射只會加強不真實感。復仇的方法也委實太兒戲。Gordon Gekko 東山再起的方法竟不及小說The Big Short 內真實人物如John Paulson 及Michael Furry 的發跡史戲劇性。Shia對角色掌握得很好。
