叛獄者

唔明白點解烈三級，因為暴力場面並非不血腥，而是跟二級片無大分別。故事好、橋段好，而且緊張，可惜觀眾不多，放映院線差是其中一個原因。

呢套戲用監獄和犯罪戲橋來包裝獨行俠片, 拍得出果種人在江湖身不由己的味道來. 故事推進十分流暢, 也可以看到主角當中的蛻變, 很喜歡 Nikolaj Coster-Waldau 在 Game of Thrones 的演出, 今次在電影內也有一些內心戲, 他既要保護家人, 又要家人遠離自己以免禍及老婆兒子, 十分矛盾和難以抉擇. 整體來說電影拍得很賞心悅目, 推薦入場.

This film was bitty gritty and oh so thoughtful. What would happen if your life was turned upside down by one tragic mistake? What length would you go to protect your family. Could you become the shot caller? Great lead actor who was a million miles away from the game of thrones character. He was very convincing at playing the normal guy turned criminal. This film is seriously understated and that may have led to my enjoyment being higher than I expected. Watch it. Have low hopes and be pleasantly surprised.

Criminally under rated and under promoted prison/crime drama. Reeking of authenticity and solid performances. Recommended.
